Poetry By Hearth wrote the following by means of introduction: “Back in our April 4th newsletter, we shared some creative writing ideas including an activity inspired by Roger Robinson’s ‘A Portable Paradise’. We were over the moon when, after reading the newsletter, the English Department from Darrick Wood School got in touch to share how their Year 7 pupils have already been bringing to life ‘A Portable Paradise’ by Roger Robinson as part of their poetry studies. Below Ms Vos speaks to our Poetry and Digital Content Editor Mariah about how this creative and fun project has helped Year 7 students lift poetry off the page and hold it in their own hands.“
