Congratulations to our Year 11 students, who have achieved some excellent Key Stage 4 results. The School is extremely proud of their achievements. Despite having experienced a very disrupted Key Stage 3 and 4 education, their endeavours and hard work have clearly paid off. Nearly 70% of students were entered for the EBacc qualification. School production of Grease There were moments in the last few months where we really did not know if this year’s production of Grease could go ahead. On three nights this week, however, students and staff achieved something that will surely last in their memories for ever. It has been another excellent year for A levels at Darrick Wood School. Overall, 48% of grades were A*-B and 22% A*-A. In 15 subjects over 50% of grades were A*-B. There were some fabulous individual performances and the vast majority of students have achieved their first choice university.
