This week Our final week of this academic year saw the welcome return of pupils and staff from Nanya Middle School. After an opening ceremony on Monday morning, they attended lessons with ‘buddies’ from Darrick Wood, Sports Day on Tuesday, further lessons on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, along with after school activities including an introduction to cricket. Sports Awards Our annual Sports Awards evening enabled us to recognise the achievements of our students across a range of sports through the year. After giving out the awards, our Guest of Honour, England Sevens player Femi Sofolarin, shared his inspiring journey through multiple sports before finally focusing and excelling in rugby. World Class Schools Symposium on Creativity in Education The Head Teacher travelled to Sheffield with Mr Chappell, Head of Media Studies and two Year 11 pupils (Thomas Birkett and Sebastian O’Driscoll-Henderson) to showcase the School’s award winning podcast service.
