This week This week we celebrated British Science Week. The theme this year is smashing stereotypes. Science is such a varied sector and much more than the societal stereotype of someone in a lab coat and goggles, swirling a conical flask. In the main school assembly we highlighted the importance of science for every one of us. This week Assemblies this week have focused on what it means to be a neighbour and in particular a good neighbour. Students also reflected on how technology is changing what we mean by neighbour and bringing people closer together virtually. Autumn term – reflections on the term so far We started this year with assemblies that emphasised the special community that exists in a school and our school in particular.
