DWS Audio is delighted to announce that our recent audio drama serial ‘Enquiry Agents’ was included in the World Showcase at this year’s UK International Audio Drama Festival. Held in Canterbury last week our drama is now available to listen to online over the next month at Radio Drama Festival Listeners are encouraged to vote for their favourite play in the Audience Award category. This week, our Year 12 students were given the opportunity to attend a road safety awareness talk led by a Bromley Road Safety Officer. The session, focusing on the challenges and responsibilities young drivers face on the road, was a powerful reminder of the importance of safety and awareness behind the wheel. This week we were treated to four performances of this year’s School Production – ‘The Little Mermaid.’ On Tuesday, we had Years 5 and 6 from Darrick Wood Junior School come and watch a matinee performance. They were all very excited before, and even more excited afterwards! They had an amazing time and were very complementary of our cast. This week This week we celebrated British Science Week. The theme this year is smashing stereotypes. Science is such a varied sector and much more than the societal stereotype of someone in a lab coat and goggles, swirling a conical flask. In the main school assembly we highlighted the importance of science for every one of us.
