Assembly round-upLast week’s assemblies started with a performance from students from our Deaf centre. Their version of ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman was truly amazing. Thank you to Maryam, Evie-May, Asma and Stanley. The assembly’s theme was Money Matters. Students were given a quick history of money and how its value changes over time. This week Assemblies this week started with a presentation by Isabella, Isobel, Rosalind, Hannah and Lizzie who all went on the recent Netball Tour. They shared their review of the Tour and encouraged others to go on the Tour next year. They all spoke with clarity and were excellent ambassadors for school sport. This week With the focus in this week’s assemblies on freedom, we were delighted to hear from Sixth Form students Roshni and George talk about Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous speech and Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the USA.
