“It’s all for you” – Othello Re-imagined

On Wednesday 19th April, ten Year 13 students studying A2 Literature visited the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse Theatre for a production of set text, Shakespeare’s Othello. As befitting Shakespearean Tragedy, the performance was not without controversy. Neal Zetter, Comic Poet, visits Darrick Wood School

On Tuesday April 25th a group of 24 pupils from years 7, 8 and 9 were chosen to take part in a workshop alongside Neal Zetter, a comic performance poet. The poetry sessions were designed to boost confidence in pupils who had already shown an interest in poetry and English and to give them further insight into creating and performing poetry.
