This week On Thursday we held our Options Evening for Year 9 pupils and parents/carers. It was a very busy evening and our thanks go to everyone who attended. The deadline for the submission of completed option forms is Monday, 5th February. Year 13 received their mock examination results this morning in a special assembly. Congratulations to Darrick Wood Dance Company, who won the borough competition to represent Team Bromley at the London Youth Games at the CopperBox Arena, London. The dancers performed fantastically well and showcased the amazing talent we have here at Darrick Wood School. This week There are many extra-curricular opportunities for your son/daughter to participate in and an up-to-date timetable can be found on the School’s website. We are encouraging more of our Sixth Form students to set up clubs and societies themselves and promote them with younger year groups. On a frosty Thursday evening in the middle of December, thirty-two hardy souls packed themselves into a coach in the school park. Ahead of them lay an arduous trip across four countries with only their portable technology and a tube or two of Pringles for company.
