Last week students in Year 9 were treated to a performance from Wizard Theatre Company who performed the text ‘I love you mum, I promise I won’t die.’ This is a play written for the Daniel Spargo Mabbs Foundation about a boy from Croydon who took MDMA on a night out with friends and sadly passed away. DWS Dance Success!

On Friday, 31st January 2025, DWS Dance Company attended the London Youth Games Dance Competition at Langley Park Centre for Performing Arts. There were schools from across the borough competing in either the KS3 or KS4/mixed competition. Darrick Wood performed a piece called ‘The Fallen.’ The dance explores a group of young soldiers as they journey through the physical challenge and depths of the trenches.
