This week This week saw more public examinations taking place and these continue after half term with A levels also starting. Today we began the process of saying farewell to our Year 13 students. The Leavers’ Assembly was a mix of excellent music, moving speeches and special memories. We continue to wish Year 11 every success during this time. Sport Relief Success at Darrick Wood School

Sport Relief Success at Darrick Wood School

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Sport Relief activities. In total, the events raised over £3300, which is nearly double the total of two years ago.   Well done to Years 7 and 8, in particular, who ran a mile in their own style, with lots of pupils really making an effort in fancy dress. In an incredible solo effort, Molly Martin in Year 7 managed to raise over £130. A huge well done to all involved.

Assemblies, this week delivered by Mr Heath, have focused on the examination season and encouraged all year groups to consider what happens when…
