This week With Safety Internet Day 2019 marked around the world on Tuesday, assemblies this week focused on how we can keep safe on the internet. This week All of Years 7 and 8 have been invited to participate in a sponsored Read-a-thon until the end of Easter. Pupils have been issued with a sponsor card and bookmark to help them raise money for children in hospitals. Pupils can be sponsored to read an entire book, a set number of pages or chapters, for reading to someone or even listening to a number of audiobooks. Sporting and academic achievements as well as the accumulation of wealth were all acknowledged as ways of measuring success.
