This week Our thanks go to everyone involved in the very successful Year 7 singing competition held last night. Each form group sang their own song before concluding with a massed choir performing “With a little help from my friends”. This week The theme for our assemblies all week has been Remembrance. Mr Eynon, Deputy Head Teacher spoke to pupils about the poppy and other ways we remember those lost in the World Wars and other conflicts since. A level results 2017

It has been another excellent year for A levels at Darrick Wood School. Overall, 48% of grades were A*-B and 22% A*-A. In 15 subjects over 50% of grades were A*-B. There were some fabulous individual performances and the vast majority of students have achieved their first choice university. Congratulations in particular to Amy Tomkins who will read French and Spanish at Oxford.
