This week There was an excellent turnout for Year 10 parents’ evening. Many parents are already asking questions about how they can best support their child in their GCSE studies. Your son/daughter should be recording homework regularly in their planners and it is never too soon to start reviewing work completed in lessons. This week As you are aware, the adverse weather conditions meant that we reluctantly closed the School early on Tuesday and then remained closed all week. These decisions are always difficult and we apologise for any inconvenience this caused. Finally a thaw has come over the weekend and the School will be open as normal on Monday. Our flagpole is very much a fixture of the School and a meeting point for pupils at the end of the school day….

This week On Thursday we held our Options Evening for Year 9 pupils and parents/carers. It was a very busy evening and our thanks go to everyone who attended. The deadline for the submission of completed option forms is Monday, 5th February. Year 13 received their mock examination results this morning in a special assembly.
