They did very well practising some of the\nroutines and following the rules required for public examinations next year\nwhilst sitting papers consisting of GCSE questions. Next week it is the turn of\nYear 9 to complete examinations in their core subjects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Help needed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PSFA were so\nsuccessful at their last sale, they are now in need of more second hand\nuniform. Any uniform that still looks good can be brought into school washed\nand ready to be stored in time for their next sale in July. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Year 7 Foam Party<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Year 7 Foam Party is on Friday, 28<sup>th<\/sup> June 7-9pm. Tickets are \u00a35 up until half term. Sixth Form Prefects will be selling the tickets during two form times every week up until half term. After half term the tickets will be available through ParentPay (but will increase to \u00a36). Tickets will be \u00a37 on the door. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To accommodate the\nstart of the afternoon session for public examinations, the times of the school\nday will change from Monday, 13th May.&nbsp;\nLunchtime will be after lesson 3 at 12.15pm followed by afternoon\nregistration at 1.00pm and lessons 4 and 5. The start and end times of the\nschool day remain unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dates for the diary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Year 9 core\nexaminations &#8211; week beginning 6th May (although not the Monday as this is Bank\nHoliday).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Public examinations\nstart &#8211; week beginning 13th May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Year 13 Leavers&#8217;\nBall &#8211; 24th May<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Half term break &#8211;\nweek beginning 27th May.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week Year 10 completed their summer examinations this week.
