It has been another excellent year for A levels at Darrick Wood School. Overall,\u00a048% of grades were A*-B and 22% A*-A. In 15 subjects over 50% of grades were A*-B.\u00a0There were some fabulous individual performances and the vast majority of students\u00a0have achieved their first choice university. Congratulations in particular to\u00a0Amy Tomkins who will read\u00a0French and Spanish\u00a0at Oxford. The highest\u00a0attainer was Lauren Bagnall who achieved 2 A* and 2 A grades.\u00a0Joanna Clowes, Tonomoy Dhar, Isabelle Gordon, Jamie Ludlow, Billy O’Neill, Elena Salenius, Victor Shirandami and Thomas Slade all achieved\u00a01 A* and 2 A grades and Sam Bird achieved 2 A* grades.\u00a0\u00a0Well done to all of our students who worked so hard.\u00a0We wish them well in their next steps.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
